Surgery

Tuesday, April 26, 8:00 AM was my TLIF surgery (1). The operation took 2 hours and I was up and walking a couple of hours later, which not everyone succeeds to do coming out of extensive back surgery. Being relatively young (38), healthy, and strong,  turned out to be helpful assets for undergoing such surgery and throughout my recovery. I started a good momentum starting right then for the next 5 weeks; I was up walking every 2 hours, day and night, exercising my muscles and new found body. This is thanks to my mother who was my caregiver for the first month, in support of my husband who has been incredible throughout this difficult journey!
